Just off the Clyde coast of western Scotland, Arran has all of the beautiful wild scenery for which Scotland is famous. What is more, it is warmed by the Gulf Stream which brings a temperate climate and enables the island to offer a unique diversity of flora and fauna.
The island has a beautiful coastline with lovely secluded beaches, while the interior varies between rugged mountains and gentle rolling meadows and woodland. It is truly a walker's paradise and, for the more relaxed, it is ideal for a gentle amble, too.
